Settled Down

Alas, I am settled down and happily married. I have met the love of my life. I acknowledge that I have been away from this blog and social media itself, but I was in love... it was love that slipped me back into reality. There was no point escaping into a Gothic world full of brooding characters and naive heroines. I could not write a Gothic romance novel when I was so happy, it would be like mixing oil with water.

Lately we have been getting into the habit of reading short stories to each other, and our latest read was 'Ligeia' by Edgar Allan Poe. Our mutual love for Edgar Allan Poe's work has reignited my own personal love for that specific genre of Gothic lit, and so I have felt the blinds shutter over my eyes and eased myself into the darkness once more.

In the new year I plan to return to my publishing company and be more active on Instagram. It will include my most recent reads (book review), updates on my stories, and potential dates for publishing. There may also be some book cover relaunches, so you can keep an update on this blog or my Instagram page.

As a married women, I expect my future works to change in tone, but I can assure you that my heart will forever be true to the paranormal and Gothic elements of this fascinating type of literature.
